Stump Grinding Cleanup

What’s left after grinding my stump?
When you grind out a stump you end up with wood chips and mulch. The amount much mulch you have will depend upon the size and type of stump. Smaller stumps don’t produce much mulch but large stumps can produce a significant amount of mulch.

We rake and blow the work site while filling the hole with the mulch where the stump used to be to leave it looking nice.  We do not haul away additional mulch and debris unless we are hired to do so.

Stump Grinding Cost

How do I calculate cost of removing my stump?
Estimating the cost of grinding a stump is fairly easy with a little measuring from you.

The way to calculate the inches is to measure the diameter (width) of the stump at ground level. If the ground is humped up around the stump, extend the diameter to include grinding the hump to grade level making sure to always measure the widest points.

If a stump needs to be cut off there may be a small charge to finish cutting to ground, but in most cases we can usually cut for free.

There could also be an additional charge for large roots and we have a $125 minimum to work on site.

Use our Contact Form or call (301)-680-3613 with your measurements and a description of the work needed and we will create a free estimate based upon your information.
